The State University of New York is the nation's largest comprehensive system of higher education. The University enrolls about 370,000 students, and employs over 75,000 facility, administrators, and staff. Each year, the State University of New York awards over 30,000 associates, 29,000 bachelors, 8,000 masters, 1,000 first professional, and 1,000 doctoral degrees.
